  2.             Read this NOW! before you proceed to installation
  3.             =================================================

  5. This zip file does not contain the Microsoft MSCDEX.EXE file, you must do the
  6. following before installation:
  7.  
  8. 1.   Make a duplicate copy of your original CDROM installation disk.
  9. 2.   Unzip the CD_DOS.ZIP (or CD_DOS.EXE) file into the duplicated copy of your
  10.      CDROM installation disk.  You must use the "-O" option to unzip so that
  11.      the files in the duplicated CDROM installation disk are updated.
  12. 3.   Proceed to installation the new software from the new CDROM installation 
  13.      disk.

  15. You can also use the following method, if you have problem with your original 
  16. CDROM installation disk:
  17.  
  18. 1.   Get ready a formatted 720 Kb blank diskette.
  19. 2.   Unzip the CD_DOS.ZIP (or CD_DOS.EXE) file into the blank formatted 
  20.      diskette.
  21. 3.   Copy the MSCDEX.EXE file from your harddisk to the root directory of 
  22.      the blank diskette (normally can be found in your SBCD\DRV, SB16\DRV
  23.      or DOS directory if you install using default setting)
  24. 4.   Proceed to installation the new software from the new CDROM installation 
  25.      disk.

  27. If you just want to update the new SBCD.SYS driver, you can simply do the
  28. following:
  29.  
  30. 1.   Unzip the CD_DOS.ZIP (or CD_DOS.EXE) file into a blank formatted 
  31.      diskette.
  32. 2.   Copy the SBCD.SYS into the directory that contains the old SBCD.SYS
  33.      file, normally it is either in SBCD\DRV or SB16\DRV directory.
